Her artistic practice spans various media – artistic publishing (zines, printing), photography, and video – across both personal and collaborative works, critically engaging the spaces between art and science to explore everyday relations, scientific environments and technologies. Her work is mainly image-driven, looking at the poetic connotations of the excluded and maybe the already spoken and how to return to it. She thinks around how politics affect the intimate, looking at structures in childhood and friendship. Her scientific research is experimental, on energy devices, mainly on new generation solar cells and materials. Beyond this, she is interested in approaching her own scientific research through historical and future impacts, narratives, and the powers that shape them. Her recent artistic works include Car Toys, Walking in a City, a zine examining the relation between toys found inside cars and the political atmosphere of a city – and the tensions between them; Missing Red, a video work that rethinks a scientific experiment in relation to the sea, through mistake, unexpected paths and movement; and Text and Image, an ongoing series thinking image and text together around birth, celebration and death. &nbsp; Her work has been shown primarily in artist-run spaces, as well as at Art Laboratory Berlin and daad Gallery, among other venues. The issue “Nylon -6” specifically explores the historical connection between ‘workwear’, technology, economic growth, and economic competition during the Cold War era, and provides a segue to a present where the importance of technology, economics, and sustainability are once again being discussed. Some of its parts are, fortunately, imperfectly fabricated. It is this imperfection that opens the work: a trace of labor within the experimental, a "mistake" carrying personal and human presence. From here, the experimental footage drifts beyond its intended purpose, layered over the open sea – day and night – where lab light meets water, wind, and horizon: structures and environments, both scientific and natural, that it comes to touch. At stake are the primary colors: red, green, and blue. Drawing RGB as a boundary, Missing Red frames the absence of red as its center – a connection between the scientific and the everyday, and a poetic and relational space to reflect on the experiment itself, its materials, and its cost. This camera recorded many important events, including the last days of our relatives. The video was resulting in muddy colors and time to time a heavy texture that makes difficult to recognize faces.This short video, Long Days, is a study for the camera itself and for the summer house where I spend my summers when I was a child.
